Torus Group supports Africa Oyé’s weekend of music and culture

26 June 2023

Torus Group was proud to be one of the sponsors for this year’s Africa Oyé Festival, that took place at Liverpool’s Sefton Park earlier this June. As the festival brought together a vibrant mix of music and culture, Torus was excited to contribute to this dynamic event.

In between the enjoying the free performances, festival goers took the time to come over to chat to Torus representatives who were on hand to promote tenant engagement, the range of new homes and raising awareness of the support and opportunities available across Torus communities.

The festival promised a memorable experience for the entire family and they delivered. People of all ages immersed themselves in the incredible atmosphere.

Cath Murray-Howard, Chief Operating Officer Torus Group comments,

“This is a fantastic chance for Torus Group to join forces with other key partners and local groups at such a significant event. The festival location is surrounded by many of our Torus homes, so by being part of the event our teams are able to extend our support and provide opportunities to even more Torus customers and wider neighbourhood members, contributing to our aim of growing stronger communities. A great example of community cohesion!”

As part of Torus Group’s community commitment, support has also been provided to this year’s Mandela8 celebrations. More details to follow soon…
