Since 2019, Vaillant and Torus Foundation have established a successful social value partnership, creating opportunities for young people living in Merseyside.
Through Vaillant’s per-boiler donation model, £25,818 has been invested into frontline services at FireFit Youth and Community Hub in Toxteth, Liverpool. This investment has not only helped ease immediate financial hardships for many but has also created a lasting impact for thousands of young people.

J’s DofE journey reminds us that when young people are given the chance to challenge themselves and build new skills, extraordinary transformation is possible. Initially struggling with low mood, social anxiety, and the challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), J found a safe space at FireFit Hub to rebuild self-confidence and social skills. Engaging consistently across activities, J developed supportive friendships, rejoined the Youth Theatre, and pursued the Bronze DofE Award.
J’s achievements reflect the outcomes of Vaillant’s partnership with FireFit is delivering for young people across Toxteth. With continued support, more young people like J can overcome complex barriers and achieve meaningful personal and educational milestones.
