Keeping In Touch (Summer 2023)

26 July 2023

Torus is now four years old, and we have overcome a lot of challenges over the last few years by adapting, changing, and focusing on our core activities.

We are continuing with that approach moving forward and wanted to bring you up to date with some of the changes to our services and to ensure you know how to contact us, should you need us. It includes updates on:

  • Making a complaint and what to do if you are still not happy.
  • Customer service and the different ways to get in touch.
  • The repairs service and our new repairs and maintenance framework.
  • Our approach to tackling damp and mould.
  • What we do to keep you safe including accessing support for domestic abuse
  • Support available if you are struggling with the increase in the cost of living
  • How you can get involved, have your say and improve services and more!!

We felt it was important that all customers, especially those not online, had access to the current information about accessing services and this summer, all customers should receive a copy of the Torus ‘In Touch’ through their doors. Please keep your copy safe as a reference.

It’s also available in the following formats:

Printed copies are also available in our public receptions in Warrington, St Helens, and Liverpool.

Alternative formats and accessibility

This ‘In Touch’ is available as an accessible PDF, where you can use the ‘Reachdeck’ tool which adds speech, reading, and translation tools to the page, making content more accessible for people with dyslexia, literacy challenges, English as a second language, and mild visual impairments.

You can also request a printed copy is an alternative format such as braille, large print, different language by calling 0800 678 1894 or emailing communications@torus.co.uk.
