Flooding in the Warrington area January 2025

On Wednesday, 1 January 2025, a major incident was declared in the Warrington area, with flooding affecting several Torus homes. We understand that this will have been a distressing experience for everyone. 

Torus is committed to the health and safety and supporting our customers.  

Over the last few days, our teams have worked tirelessly with the emergency services and Warrington Borough Council. We have been in the area talking to our tenants and offering alternative accommodation to people whose homes were affected by the flooding.

Update: 11am Monday 6 January

A flood alert has been issued across parts of Warrington, including Chepstow Close, Colwyn Close, properties on and around Higham Avenue, Tavlin Avenue, Hodgkinson Avenue, Marshall Avenue, Hawleys Lane and Mullen Close.
