Spinnaker House offers modern, high quality, self-contained apartments with your own front door. Each apartment has a kitchen, a bathroom with level access wet rooms, one or two-bedrooms and a living area. They are designed specifically to accommodate people with mobility issues and to provide a comfortable and safe environment.

Spinnaker House is more than just a home, it is a scheme that actively promotes and encourages physical and mental wellbeing, which offers opportunities to socialise.
Extra Care is all about ensuring your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. Spinnaker House has an emergency alarm which lets you call for assistance should you need it, with staff carrying out regular wellbeing checks for all residents. ‘Assistive’ technology is also installed throughout the building, which allows residents to contact the team for emergency help and can also be used with a range of devices such as falls pendants and activity sensors to allow residents to stay independent for longer.
On-site care and support will be provided by Wirral based, experienced care provider Professional Carers along with Torus Support Network housing team.
Professional Carers have been delivering Community Care in Wirral for 25 years, first opening its door in 1998. With a Head Office in Wallasey and one of the largest care providers on Wirral, their team of staff deliver Domiciliary care in a range of community settings including Extra Care sites, to over 450 individuals across the local community. With a Care Quality Commission grading of ‘Good’, Professional Carers put people at the heart of everything they do. Situated on the old Rock Ferry High School grounds, off Highfield Road South, Spinnaker House is situated in as part of the Manor Park development, a twenty-acre site which also includes 84 new homes and the redevelopment of existing Grade II listed building, Ravenswood House. Spinnaker House is close to local amenities and transport links.

Residents will be allocated to this scheme by Wirral Council Adult Social Care, via a digital application and assessment process. You are advised to register as soon as possible.

- allocations for this scheme are agreed with 100% nomination rights for Wirral Council Adult Social Care and Health Directorate, and places are allocated via a digitalised application and assessment process, managed by a Panel within social care assessment teams.
- the rent, service charge and support charge are eligible for Housing Benefit depending on individual circumstances.
Residents can also access a furniture package through Torus, which is included in Housing Benefit if eligible.
