Torus Foundation maintains its Matrix Standard

16 August 2021

Following a recent assessment, the Foundation is happy to share that it has maintained the Matrix Standard.

This unique quality standard, ensures organisations like the Foundation, are delivering excellence in the field of Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) for our customers across Torus communities.

As well as the team pulling together evidence, we’d like to thank customers and stakeholders who also took part in the assessment process.

This is the first time that all of the Torus Foundation services have been assessed. Traditionally, it concentrated on the Foundation’s Employment and Skills service, but this time each focus areas was covered, enabling more of the team to showcase an even wider programme of support throughout Torus communities.

We were also delighted to welcome lots of positive feedback from the assessors. Highlights included recognition that Foundation staff was a very qualified team of people who demonstrated passion and genuine care for the customer. Assessors also commented on the really good promotion and engagement activities which allowed customers to ‘open up’, whether it be through a coffee and chat or over a casual conversation while litter picking.

Digital support from Torus Foundation

The Foundation was also able to demonstrate that our services are determined by customer need and the team were able to show their ability to refine the service offer to meet those needs and that they are empowered to make those changes.

Even with this encouraging feedback, Torus Foundation continues to engage with customers and stakeholders on ways to improve the offer available.

Torus Foundation’s varied programme of support covers; employment and skills, financial and digital inclusion, health and wellbeing and youth provision.

If you’re a tenant or resident of Torus looking to benefit from these services or whether you’re a local organisation in Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington looking to help enhance our offer, get in touch with the team via 0300 123 809 or info@torusfoundation.org.uk.
