You will soon be able to access more information about how Torus manages your home under the Government’s Social Tenants Access to Information Requirements scheme (STAIRs).
The scheme will make it easier to find information on areas like property maintenance, spending, decision making and performance.
All social housing providers must publish these details on their websites by 1 October 2026. Tenants can send written requests for information from 1 April 2027.
To make things easier, we’ll be putting everything in one place. We’ll publish all the required information on this page and keep tenants informed about when it is available.
STAIRs information requests
From 1 April 2027, you’ll be able to request specific information on areas like:
- Anti-social behaviour
- Complaints handling
- Procedures and performance
- Health and safety
- Rent rates
- Property conditions, repairs and improvements to your home
- Service charges
- Stock profile
- Energy efficiency information
- Estate management
