Torus Foundation’s Social Impact Report 2020/21

Torus Foundation’s Social Impact Report 2020/2021 – A Lifeline of Support

Covid-19 was a challenge for us all in 2020/21 and communities across the North West have been disproportionally affected.

This made our mission of growing stronger communities more important than ever.

The Foundation set to work on making the biggest impacts where they were needed most, adapting the way we support people.

When the first lockdown happened, the team pulled together a plan for immediate support as well as interventions that really change lives over the long-term.

Torus Foundation’s Social Impact Report 2020/21 looks back at some of those projects and interventions that were delivered alongside like-minded organisations and provides insight into impacts achieved.

The report also focuses on how our activities meet the different, evolving needs of all customers no matter what their age. From working with children’s centres, providing IT equipment to help families home schooling and enhance job searches, to organising activities to reduce isolation among older community members despite restrictions.

In addition to the support from colleagues across the Torus group, we would like to thank our partners and those living within Torus communities for the inspiring and selfless way they have responded to new realities over these 12 challenging months.

Take a moment to see a snapshot of what’s been taking place and if you’re a Torus customer who would like to reach out for the support available, or a like-minded organisation who would like to help enhance the work the Foundation delivers, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
