Colleagues from across the Torus Group came together to support Warrington-based St Rocco’s Hospice as part of their annual Dragon Boat Race.

The event, which sees organisations from across the region take to the River Mersey in a dramatic Dragon Boat Race, is part of St Rocco’s drive to raise much-needed funds to help them continue to support people with life limited illnesses.

Hundreds of spectators came along on the day to cheer on the self-named Torus Titans and the 12 other teams as they battled in the iconic dragon boats in 3 head-to-head rounds. Sadly, the Titans couldn’t compete with this year’s winner, Cadent Dragons Red.

Warrington’s Deputy Mayor, Cllr Sagheer Zaman, presented medals and the trophy to the winning teams.
