The construction of the building is: concrete. The tower is constructed of blockwork walls with a concrete floor plate which is approximately 120mm thick. The external walls are glazed bricks at the lower levels and with cladding above. The floors are constructed of concrete with solid Internal Walls. There is a central core that contains one passenger lift and one lift that is classed as a firefighting lift.

A Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) is a report on the fire hazards within the communal areas of a building, as well as the external walls and materials used. It’s carried out by an independent fire safety expert annually, explains the key safety measures in place and identifies any potential fire safety risks.

It also gives recommendations for us to follow if more safety measures are needed to prevent, control, and reduce the effects of a fire. Our FRAs are made available to the Fire and Rescue Service whenever necessary.

  • This Fire Risk Assessment was completed by: FCMS (Darren Cookes MIFSM NEBOSH DipFD)
  • Date of latest Fire Risk Assessment: 28 April 2025
  • Next Fire Risk Assessment due: April 2026.
