10 February 2026
The Torus Apprenticeship Awards, which celebrate apprentices, their mentors and their managers across the Group, saw HMS colleagues walk away with four of the awards. The highlight of the event was Isobel Dowd being crowned as HMS Apprentice of the Year, a truly fantastic achievement.
Those shortlisted were nominated by their colleagues and colleges, highlighting the great work being done by apprentices and the people supporting them. It also shines a spotlight on the beneficial role they can play for people and further their careers.
Talking about her apprenticeship, Isobel commented:
“I was uncertain about going to university, but this apprenticeship has given me the opportunity to connect with many different people. It has also helped me with my confidence and my day-to-day life skills, both inside and outside of work.”
